Buffalo Amber and Oaks is a small permaculture farm in the rolling hills of South Gippsland, Vic. Situated between the villages of Meeniyan and Fish Creek, the property is lined with tall Eucalypts and European trees planted in the first half of the last century. It sits in the middle of larger dairy farms and overlooks hills in the distance. on 3.6 acres it has an 80-year-old apple orchard, a dry orchard with olives, pine nut trees and juniper berries, a paddock and a cottage, shed, studio and caravan. The property is home to resident koalas and native ducks and birds, and we are seeking to balance native vegetation for species habitat with productive perennials. We are a film designer and owner of a sustainable architecture studio (and permaculture designer) with two young adult kids.
