Hobby farm on 160 acres, lots of dogs that run the house. Chickens, Ducks, cows, horses and pigs. Only been here for 2 years, so lots of projects on the go! We have a cottage on the farm which is all self contained. We are about 45 minutes from Ipswich. Its a beautiful area with a creek running through the valley.

Why I became a WWOOF Host

We have only just bought this property, it has its own self contained cottage, which is going to waste! We decided that we need help as things get overwhelming at times. So this is the best opportunity for both us and anyone that would like to live on the farm. We would love to achieve some veggie gardens and being self sufficient.

Organic/Biological methods we use

As we have only been here for a few years, we are focusing on the organic side of things. The veggie garden is happening, with no pesticides. Still working on the cattle, pigs and horses. Chickens and ducks are organic, as we use apple cider vinegar, for the worms and they live off the veggie garden and seed.
