Lara
We have a family run a certified organic dairy farm on just under 300 acres. Situated in the beautiful rolling hills our property has over a kilometer of creek running through the middle, where both platypus and Gippsland cray have been seen. We grow most of our own food and have a wide variety of animals.

Why I became a WWOOF Host

We are passionate about organics and living organically and love to share our knowledge and skills with people who have similar interests and ideals. We also homeschool our four children and wish to broaden their cultural experiences by meeting new people from different backgrounds.

Organic/Biological methods we use

Biological soil management and conservation, ,manual weed control, increasing biodiversity through multispecies plantings and the propagation of windbreaks and planting of wet/marsh areas with trees, topping of pasture and fertilitation with organic fertilisers, organic vegetable production for home use.
