Why I became a WWOOF Host

I decided to welcome WWOOFers to my hobby farm because I believe in sharing the joy and knowledge of organic farming, without the pressures of a large commercial operation. My farm is small and manageable, so the workload is light, making it a perfect opportunity for those looking to experience farm life without the overwhelm. I’m passionate about teaching sustainable practices, and I’m always open to new ideas and innovative approaches to farming—it’s a true exchange of knowledge and culture.

The region where we live is a hidden gem, surrounded by stunning natural beauty. It’s ideal for those who love outdoor adventures, with plenty of opportunities for hiking, swimming, fishing, and exploring. If you’re a young person seeking a meaningful farm experience and a chance to connect with nature, this is the perfect place to spend time, learn, and grow.

Organic/Biological methods we use

we adopt a traditional way of organic farming. Our fertilizers are organic pellets, mostly composted chicken manure, to give a balanced feed to the trees. The amounts and variety of organic fertilizers that we use varies throughout the year in accordance to the season and specific needs of the different plants. All pesticides and fungicides we use are also organic.
