Little Luscious Farm
Little Luscious Farm is an agritourism business set in the rolling green hills of Mirboo, South Gippsland, less than 2hrs from Melbourne, and 10 mins from the charming town of Mirboo North, and about 40 minutes to the entrance of Wilson’s Prom.
We are establishing a chemical-free flower farm, accommodation, and events space, with a “Low Dig, Low Waste, Low Cost” philosophy. We belive that you can life a luscious life without it costing the earth.
We have one existing guest cottage, next to the main house, which would suit a couple or two friends. A car is essential for getting around our area, but we do have an EV charger.

Why I became a WWOOF Host
Sharing what we’re learning along our adventure, and hearing from others about their experiences, has been wonderful so far, and we welcome visitors with enthusiasm, a love of food and conversation, and a proactive attitude.
We need help creating farm infrastructure and growing plants in our Test Gardens, as well as managing events – jobs range from “simple, limited ability” activities such as ironing tablecloths and stripping cardboard boxes, to fence building and wood chopping – we need help with everything.

Organic/Biological methods we use
Low Dig, Low Waste, Low Cost
Gardens: We work on the basis of chemical-free, “No Dig” gardening, but have called it “Low Dig”. For example, we use cardboard, fleece and compost layers for garden beds, donated by the community, as we’re keen on circular economy principles. We also use branches which have fallen from trees for creating dead hedges, stakes and other things, and intend to have large logs milled for our future buildings. Garden edges are made from bricks all collected for free (about 6000 so far) and pavers, and made into drystone walls and paths.
Events and accommodation: We try to use items that we’ve found for free or cheaply, many of them cleaned up or upcycled, including furniture, linen, china and cutlery. We have private events on site, and also hire out items to the local community.
