Our main work is Pastured eggs, we have 3 chicken caravans 450 , total of 1500 laying hens, our hens run wild and free in the Paddock just like a nature intended them to be . We also Alpacas to guard the hens from foxes and  black face Dorper Sheep.

We are not certified Organic but we practice organic ways, we don’t use any chemical on farm.

We are passionate about our farm and all our animals are very well cared for and loved.

We also have dogs, cats, Geese and duck.

Why I became a WWOOF Host

We have been thinking about becoming hosts for quite some time. We would like to share our knowledge about Pasture Raised Laying hens, this will be our 9th year supplying our delicious eggs to Gourmet Butchers and Cafes. We also would love to have extra hands on farm to help out with the day to day work with the Hens, collecting eggs, moving the hens onto fresh pasture, fencing, small building Projects, growing vegetables, planting more fruit trees etc etc.

Organic/Biological methods we use

Organic,  we don’t use any Chemicals here on the farm.  We let nature take its course.
