From Little Acorns Flower Farm
Nestled in tall timber country in the south west of Western Australia, From Little Acorns Flower Farm is a 26.5 acre property which is home to a cut flower farm, large apiary and chicken farm.
Our property is surrounded by state forest so we have wildlife that comes on farm if you are interested in seeing kangaroos, possums and other native wildlife up close.

Why I became a WWOOF Host

We like the idea of sharing the experience of farming with like minded people who enjoy farming activities and growing. There are not enough hours in the day, so we are interested in exploring how we can improve farming operations with innovative resourcing that provides a win win for both parties. The farm gets help and we get to host people from overseas, learn about different cultures and potentially make some amazing friendships and connections.

Organic/Biological methods we use

We use a number of sustainability and permaculture techniques to improve our soil and farm operations.
