Short Property Description
We’re on 100 acres with mainly forest and a creek, located in Northern NSW, 14km from Mullumbimby. Bordering a national park. Truly on the edge of wilderness. With 3 established permaculture gardens/ food forests and a diverse and colourful community of sometimes 12 people.
Five (5) main areas of work are: building with recycled materials, permaculture gardening, regen, general property maintenance, and crazy, dynamic art space projects.
The raw nature of this place presents its own challenges and is not for the feint of heart! Our aim is to foster ‘small community’ whilst respecting the awesome natural beauty of this special place.

Why I became a WWOOF Host
30 years ago, when we started this project, living on the land was a challenging and rewarding experience for our family, and the richness that WWOOFers brought then to our community project and family was profound. Our children shared meals with people from all over the world, and made friends with people they would never have had the opportunity to meet otherwise. The kind of help that WWOOFers offer makes for better and more enjoyable outcomes for everybody involved. Now that we are continuing with the next phase of building a small rural community that will hopefully span generations, it will be interesting in a [post ) COVID era mindset to open our doors to new people, and work together to achieve powerful results.
