Jackie Aherne
I have a 10-acre property in the countryside outside Bridgetown Western Australia with established paddocks, garden beds, a greenhouse, and a huge chicken coop—with nothing in them yet! The property has great potential, but I have limited time with my work schedule, so I’m looking to get it all set up with the help of some local farmers and WWOOFers. I have a fully off grid caravan for a WWOOFer with bed, kitchen, fridge freezer, bathroom with full size shower, gas heater, outside undercover area, phone coverage, WIFI, solar power, rain collection water.

Why I became a WWOOF Host

Work has kept me incredibly busy, and while the property has great bones, I haven’t had the time to get things going. I became a WWOOFer host because I have a fully off-grid caravan set up ready for someone who’s keen to help plant trees, fill the garden beds and greenhouse, prepare for chickens and sheep, lend a hand with general property tasks, cleaning, cooking or anything else that might save me some time so I can focus on organizing trades and buying all the materials required for the projects I have planned.
