Why I became a WWOOF Host
My partner passed away recently. We have been creating a home based business for short term accomodation and thermal baths. Set in a beautiful space in the rainforest for nature enthusiasts, adventurers, and dog lovers. (with national parks restricting access to dogs) Creating thermal baths for healing and relaxation amongst a natural setting. I want to continue our dream but need help. While it is on 26 acres there is a 1-2 acre area we have created walking tracks along the many creek beds. We have also created natural rockpools and are also creating thermal baths (heating and distributing water to the rockpools). My dream is to also make this disability friendly, all inclusive space for adults, couples and their dogs building raised decks to accomodate wheelchair access into the rainforest. Short term accommodation is available to guests in house but if not booked out option also to stay in retro caravan, or glamping tent in true Aussie style (campfire allowed). On the property we have planted many varieties of fruit trees, and are developing a fully sustainable vegie garden. Aim is to be fully organic and gain organic certification.
