Why I became a WWOOF Host

I am creating a home based business for short term holiday accomodation and thermal baths.  Creating thermal baths for healing and relaxation amongst a natural setting. While it is on 26 acres there is a 1-2 acre area with walking tracks along creek beds with natural rockpools. The thermal baths are  set in serene rainforest for nature enthusiasts, adventurers, and dog lovers.  Short term accommodation is available to guests in house. On the property there is many varieties of fruit trees, and developing a fully sustainable vegie garden. Aim is to be fully organic and gain organic certification.
“I became a WWOOF host to help manage the beautiful challenge of maintaining this large rainforest property. Nature and her seasons here are vibrant and demand constant care, but it is work I truly enjoy. Beyond the help on the land, I am passionate about meeting people from across the globe, sharing stories of different customs, and creating a global community right here in the forest and building lasting international connections.

Organic/Biological methods we use

I have a vegetable garden with various varieties of fruit trees. I maintain the garden with organic principles, composting, mulching and pruning. I am endeavouring to raise all garden beds, no chemicals while also respecting natural environment and animals. We all learn off each other so keen to embrace your knowledge and learn together.
