Short Property Description
Primary production farm breeding cell-grazed, grass fed and finished cattle, maintaining paddocks and grounds, growing fresh, organic produce. Also home to dogs, chickens and goats.
Organic/Biological methods we use
Our cattle are cell-grazed within a rotational grazing system, fully grass-fed and -finished to promote soil regeneration, pasture diversity, and carbon sequestration. We follow holistic land management principles, using our pasture-raised chooks to complement the cattle rotation in a multi-species grazing program that naturally manages pests, spreads nutrients, and supports closed-loop soil fertility. We deliberately farm on a small scale so we can prioritise low-stress animal handling, and continue to treat every animal as part of the family. Our gardens are organically managed with a focus on seasonal, chemical-free produce, working in harmony with the farm’s natural systems and rhythms. Our bee hives are managed using a sustainable, low-intervention approach, producing small-batch raw honey while supporting pollination across our pastures, gardens, and surrounding native flora, strengthening biodiversity and overall farm health.

Why I became a WWOOF Host
To offer a home to those keen to learn about organic growing and to help out with the property. To have support and build a community in an otherwise somewhat rural area, and to help with the housing crisis in any way possible.
