Short Property Description

Farm in Mary Valley Queensland, we are setting up and establishing gardens, trees, relaxing recreation areas by creek, planting food forest and gardens. We are also breeding and showing of Andalusian horses, Azteca horses and Brahma Chickens. There are rolling hills, fantastic views of mountains, a creek and many hiking trails in nearby forest. We do equine therapy, training, and rehabilitation for horses in addition to making our own essential oils for therapeutic use and hoping to have an herbal garden created so all our oils are farm grown. We are working towards organic farming in the future so we do not use any harmful sprays and will be planting heritage seeds.

Why I became a WWOOF Host

We have had many travellers help in past and have enjoyed their visits and company and they have been a great help. We have recently purchased this property and wanted to join a group so that we can be part of a community and maybe meet travellers who may be interested in helping out while sharing our beautiful farm.
