Short Property Description
Captains Creek, in the beautiful Widgee Valley on the Sunshine Coast & 20 mins from Gympie, is a 125 acre property of lush pastures, pristine running creeks & large old shade trees. It’s a very peaceful & relaxing property with much wildlife to watch. We specialise in training horses, run a small herd of 30 cattle, and have dogs as well.
Organic/Biological methods we use
We don’t use chemicals and do weed maintenance by hand and slashing. I eat mainly organical but don’t grow my vegetables, I purchase from local markets and shops.

Why I became a WWOOF Host
I am rejoining after some years away. I have always enjoyed the interactions through having volunteers and meeting new people. I could do with the extra help as I am getting older and mostly do everything myself.
