Beautiful mountain land with feral deer, koalas, kangaroos and numerous bird species. Tipi accomodation with facilities in the off grid cottage, limited water, rough access track from dirt road, underneath the eastern flight path
I have raised three chidren and done 100km/day school runs, I had woofers in the early days, but not since the bushfire because of maintanence and repair issues, now thinking of downsizing as 10.5 hectares is a lot to manage.
Organic/Biological methods we use
fencing is a problem as Blazeaid never came back after the bushfire in 2015. Otherwise we do mannual clearing of blackberry, and harvest firewood and rainwater, some bush tucker like wattle gum and seed, and plant trees for understory, we have revegetated a pastoral lease for the past 45 years of restoration ecology.
