I spent a week at Dawn's and it was a wonderful week. Dawn is a very caring host. During my stay, she did everything she could to make me feel comfortable, taking care of me as if I were her own granddaughter. The farm is very pretty, the tasks required are not difficult, and you can even spot a few kangaroos on the property! I was able to participate in the market on Saturday, which was a very friendly and enjoyable experience. I highly recommend this wwoofing experience, especially if you are a woman traveling alone. You will feel comfortable and safe there!

I arrived at Dawn’s farm on September 5th planning to stay for two weeks and I ended up staying four! Every day was different, with lots of variety in the work : planting, weeding, picking, watering, mowing… We usually worked in the mornings, and Dawn was very flexible, so I could also take some days off during the week to explore the area. I learned so much about farming and community life. Each week we organized two lovely local markets right at the entrance of the farm: a small market for seniors on Wednesdays and a bigger one on Saturdays. It was a great way to connect with locals, share fresh produce, and meet wonderful people. Dawn and her daughter Natalie are incredibly kind and welcoming. We shared meals like one big family, surrounded by a real sense of community with market regulars, horse owners, and sometimes other WWOOFers. There’s also plenty to explore nearby: Brisbane City, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Bribie Island, Redcliffe… This was my very first WWOOFing experience and I couldn’t have wished for a better one! If you’re looking for a rewarding farming experience and a place where you’ll feel truly at home, I highly recommend Dawn’s farm !

We spent two absolutely amazing weeks with Dawn and her daughter Natalie. We learned so much on their vegetable farm. The tasks were very diverse (planting, picking, watering…) and we worked alongside Dawn, which was really pleasant. We shared all the meals together, and they were delicious. Dawn made sure we never lacked anything and was very flexible with the schedule — we could work more one day to get full days off later. The markets organized by Dawn and others on Wednesdays and Saturdays were great! The place where we stayed, right next to her house, was also very comfortable. We highly recommend this place, both for the kindness of the people and for the tasks, the lifestyle, and the great activities nearby. Orane, Gwendo, and Carla

This was our very first WWOOFing experience, and it couldn’t have been better! We got to be part of Dawn’s family and learn so much from her way of life. She’s always learning too, which was really inspiring for us. It was such an awesome experience, and we felt lucky to give a hand while she’s constantly on the move. Her family and friends were also wonderful and super kind. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks a lot!

We had a fantastic two weeks at Plot 4504 with Dawn and Natalie. They are caring and generous hosts who really look after their woofers. Accommodation and facilities were very comfortable. We worked 4 hours a day with weekends off. The work was varied: we did planting, mulching, weeding, watering, and picking for the Saturday morning plot market. We enjoyed playing tennis and chatting together during dinner. Natalie is an excellent cook!!!! Her meals were absolutely delicious! Thank you for the wonderful time we shared with you. It was a great woofing experience. See you again soon!

I really enjoyed staying at Dawns farm. They are such lovely people and I immediately felt welcome. I stayed in a very nice little caravan. The work was mostly about weeding, planting and picking. But the working times were very flexible. They even took me on a weekend trip to Toowoomba and I got another whole day off to spend it in Brisbane and get to know the city. It was a wonderful first wwoofing experience and I'm definetly recommending to get to know these amazing people and this lovely place. Thank you that I was able to spend such a wonderful time at your place:)

I spent 10 truly wonderful days on this farm. The work was about 4 hours a day and the schedule was so flexible. I mainly did gardening in the lovely fields, such as mulching, weeding, and planting new seeds. There were also many horses grazing freely, and I was so happy to have the opportunity to interact with them and even go horseback riding. My favorite part was definitely the cabin I stayed in. It was such a lovely space, and I was filled with happiness and excitement. Dawn is a truly, truly, truly amazing host. Every meal she made was incredibly delicious, and she even took me to the beach for the Easter holiday. Every Saturday, she holds a small market where she sells homemade jams, vegetables and flowers harvested from the farm.Spending time there, enjoying the lovely atmosphere while drinking coffee, was so wonderful. This farm is definitely my favorite place, and I highly recommend it. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay, Dawn. I love you!

Best host in Australia!!!! Guys, I absolutely recommend you come and stay at Dawn's. Very friendly family farm with many flowers and vegetables/fruits. The work is very flexible, and you can easily arrange things with Dawn. Every Saturday, Dawn and her daughters open their small market where nearly 150 people come to drink coffee and do their shopping. You will also be able to meet the horse owners, as Dawn rents her land. Finally, and most importantly, you will have an incredible time with Dawn, David and Natalie, you will eat divinely well and enjoy the surroundings! Dawn is fantastic and loves to share Australian customs. The little vintage caravan you will sleep in is superb! Don't hesitate!
