Short Property Description
Our Place: We have a 3/4 acre property in a small town on the far north coast NSW. For 7 years we have been turning our gardens into food forest. We have 6 distinct garden zones, including a small rainforest garden. The house sits between a river and a lake, and it’s a 10 minute walk to the beach. Unfortunately, because of the area when we live, our house and garden sometimes flood. We have been through several floods and one cyclone in the last 4 years. There are a few parts of our garden that need to be tidied up and repaired. We would love some WWOOFERS to help us get things looking beautiful again!
We also have two very affectionate old dogs. And from time to time we have wildlife in care as we are wildlife rescuers. The entire property is a non-smoking area.
What is involved: Tasks include weeding, mulching, watering, making compost, & general hobby-farm maintenance.
Accommodation: Bedroom for 1 person or a couple in the main house with own bathroom.
What we offer: Shared evening meals and food provided for breakfast and lunch.
What to bring: Essentials for your stay include –
