I couldn’t have asked for a softer or kinder landing in a new country. I was truly lucky to begin my WWOOF experience in Australia with Jacqueline, Paul, Daniel, and Hanna. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel completely at home. Jacqueline, especially, was incredibly thoughtful; she made sure I was never overworked and even filled my weekends with road trips so I could soak up as much of the area as possible. I also learned a great deal about native plants, fruits, and trees, as Jacqueline is lovingly filling her homestead with them. It was the perfect start to my journey.

Thank you Jacqui & Paul for this welcoming stay at your home! You and your family are so kindhearted and amazing people and i loved staying with you. I learnt so many new gardening technics and skills and was getting to know also your community and friends. I especially loved our deep talks and life advices: they will always be with me now. I had a very great time at the ‘Pelicans Nest’. Jaqueline and Paul are two very lovely people with amazing knowledge about food, nutrition and sustainable living. They have a big garden with lots of fruits and vegetables as well as some chicken and a turkey. It was very peaceful and calming being there. Jaqueline also showed me around the area which I really appreciated!
