We have a 1 1/2 acres fruit farm just 15 minutes North of Byron Bay. We call ourselves the 20/20 farm as we have approx 20 mango trees, 20 banana trees, 20 citrus trees, 20 macadamia trees and a handful of a multitude of other fruit and nut trees. We do not use any sprays or chemicals in gardening and try to follow the principles of nature. Our land draws in many different native birds. People who visit us always say it is so peaceful here and they never want to leave.
We are seeking some assistance in bringing restoration to our fruit farm and require work to prune, feed and mulch our trees as well as establish a working vegetable garden. Also needing to keep up with the process of creating compost. We believe that community is important and thrive in a community type work environment especially on the land. We are also looking to add heaps more color into our medicine wheel and love the inspirations that come from the creativity of others. Ideally we would like our property to create enough abundance to feed our community and so want to bring others and their cultural and environmental diversity onto our land. This also gives others the opportunity to find peace and healing as we have done since tuning back into nature.
At present we are seeking help to feed, prune and mulch fruit trees as well as propagation.
As we are a hobby farm we unable to sign off for Visas.
Organic/Biological methods we use
We are organic (though not certified) and use no chemicals or sprays on our property. We utilise mostly sytropic style gardening procedures.
