Beautiful 20 Acre Rainforest Nature Residence [New Host]
A residential setting within a 20acre rainforest setting, just 500mtrs from scenic Wappa Dam & close to Cooloolabin Dam; needing removal of some invasive weeds & home to Bush Wallabies and other native animals.

Why I became a WWOOF Host

I’m a relatively fit, active 76-year-old pensioner who enjoys working outdoors, living simply, and sharing a calm, meaningful way of life. After hearing many positive reports about WWOOFers over the years, I felt this was a good way to welcome practical, thoughtful people while caring for a special piece of land.

Organic/Biological methods we use

Once the recent invasion of Singapore Daisy, Wild Tobacco, Lantana and running bamboo are removed, I’d luv to establish some native fruiting plants in a relatively small cleared part of the block, but my initial experience with mulberry shrubs taught me that they were quickly demolished by various beautiful little Bush Wallaby family groups.
