Short Property Description
Our 12 acres property is situated on French Island in the Western Port Bay of the Victoria state. The property on the Island is 400 meters away from the ferry terminal, on a elevated position and with great views of the surrounding bay including Philip Island. The property face the east side so will enjoy beautiful sunsets and views of the National Park. The area and our property has a huge amount of wildlife especially koalas.
The property has an establish organic orchard that includes olive trees. The organic vegetable garden give us some of the ingredients, including a good amount of garlic to cook some delicious meals that can be adapt to your diets. Our chickens lay enough eggs to be added to some of our meals.

Why I became a WWOOF Host
I like being a WWOOF Host because I like to share my knowledge and learn about different cultures. Having an extra hand to look after our property is also enjoyable and make me way more motivated to achieve some projects.
The work tasks around the property include the property maintenance, feeding and take care of the chickens, harvesting the fruits of the orchard and collecting the garden vegetables. I’ve got some small building project where extra hands are much appreciated.
