Our urban acre is set to become a permaculture paradise. We are embarking on a journey to convert a horse paddock into a home farm, with chickens, geese, veggies and a food forest. Included will be water cycling and a frog pond. We have the design and have started our journey with native bees, chickens and the earthworks needed to slow and absorb water, along with around 45 fruit and nuts trees and the home veggie garden.
I am keen to share our journey to permaculture. I have extensive experience in bush regeneration environmental science and natural resource management and I’m very keen to share my skills. I also love to cook and enjoy meeting people from all backgrounds and experiences. We are totally inclusive and accept and value all walks of life.
Organic/Biological methods we use
We are an organic property with reduced chemical use. The food forest design is a permaculture system with integrated water cycle, chickens and bees (geese to come!).
