About Our Place – We are developing a community-led resilience and learning hub on 25 acres near Sarina in North Queensland.
This land is being shaped into a space for:
• Sustainable building workshops (aircrete domes)
• Community food growing and gardens
• Women-led skills development
• Cultural and community collaboration
• Low-impact living and shared infrastructure
This is an early-stage, hands-on project. Volunteers joining us will be contributing to something that is still taking shape, not a polished retreat. If you enjoy learning, building, getting your hands dirty and being part of something meaningful, you’ll fit right in.
We are building slowly, thoughtfully and with care.
We welcome WWOOFers who are:
• Self-motivated
• Curious and willing to learn• Respectful of shared spaces• Comfortable with early-stage projects• Open to working as part of a small team
No prior building experience is required, just a good attitude.
We joined WWOOF to welcome people from different backgrounds who want to contribute meaningfully while learning new skills. We love meeting new people as learning goes both ways.
This is a great placement for people interested in:
