Short Property Description
2 ¼ acre private house and garden. Fruit trees, vegetable garden, landscaped ornamental borders, plus antique furniture restoration workshop. We are in our late 60’s and have just moved here from the UK. These gardens here are a little neglected but have great potential. We have both worked in a wide variety of jobs, mostly self-employed. We have both worked professionally as cooks and eat well, mostly organic food. Rick has worked as a sports coach at a high level and for 35 years in the antiques trade as a restorer and has been involved with wwoof since 1975. Pat has a degree in psychology and worked in the Australian health service, she also a post grad degree in botanical conservation. She has also been involved with the “Deep Ecology” movement since its beginnings. Our wwoofers tend to find us interesting and relaxed and reasonably well behaved.
