Short Property Description
Susanne and Chris have 120 acre farm in the beautiful hinterland of the Great Lakes area only 20 minutes from the stunning beaches of the Barrington coast ( Seal Rocks, Boomerang and Blueys beach) . We raise Belted Galloway cattle, have horses, chickens and of course dogs.
We try to keep everything on farm by breeding, making our own hay and silage, land improvement through compost tea and ehiki application and grow our own vegetables.
Wwoofers would have their own seperate accomodation with full kitchen, bathroom, laundry, bedrooms, lounge with log burning fire. Plus outdoor living area with seperate fireplace. There is also a large dam for swimming or cooling off.
We eat some lunches together and provide some diners otherwise you cook your own meals. This is why we prefer couples however if you are comfortable with your own company singles will be considered.
Closest town is Bulahdelah, 15 minutes away, handy for shopping etc. plus we have a cafe 5 minutes walk open on friday and weekends. There is no public transport so it is an advantage to have your own transport to take in the beautiful area.
We are in a designated NSW Fire and Flood area should anyone want to apply for a work holiday 417 extended visa

Why I became a WWOOF Host
We have always considered having Wwoofers and now we have built ourseperate accomodation we can successfully achieve this.
There are just two of us running the farm and we very busy with other businesses and family so need help with fencing, weed control, mulching, the vege garden, composting, general farm duties and always a special building project.
