Short Property Description
Biologically farmed cattle grazing with an emphasis on biodiversity enhancement. We have only recently got cattle, we move them regularly to allow them access to fresh fodder. Good English is required as we take safety seriously and find it is essential when working around cattle.
We live in a strawbale house that is about 10 years old. You will stay in our spare room that has its own bathroom. We have about 300Ha of good quality bushland with beautiful wildflowers from July to October. We have 2 dogs who are very friendly and no children. We have just acquired 3 horses, so a bit of work involves them. We also have chooks.
Organic/Biological methods we use
We practise rotational grazing, which means moving the cattle regularly. We don’t use pesticides on the cattle or paddocks.

Why I became a WWOOF Host
We are looking for a couple orĀ 2 people travelling together as that works better for everyone. We have a chat after a couple for days to see if the situation is working for us all.
We farm using biological methods with some biodynamic techniques. We enjoy meeting and learning from new people. We are also very happy to share what we have learnt and are continually learning.
This can be very rewarding for the right people. You will learn lots of skills that will set you up for working on other rural properties.
