Louise Thorpe
Our property sits on the edge of the Beelu National Park in the hills east of Perth. Quirky outbuildings made from recycled materials, including an art studio. The main cottage was built in 1881. The accomodation consists of a caravan with all mod cons (air con/tv) with a seventies vibe, an old railway carriage and a recently renovated outdoor bathroom with toilet and shower. We share it with one dog, a quarter horse and a miniature pony. 15 minutes from Lake Leschenaultia where you can swim. 15 minutes to the railway station to central Perth. A great location on the edge of the forest but with easy access to Perth city and Fremantle.

Why I became a WWOOF Host

We look forward to sharing our haven and meeting new people and also will appreciate the help as although it is a small property it requires ongoing maintenance. Experience with power tools is an asset. We are always working on a creative project and you may like to get involved with these.
