Brett
Buffalo Plains is a small 2.5 acre bushblock running two tiny-home accomodation units and 14 organic vegetable lots. Chickens (Heather, Gwen and Beril) and goats are on site also.

Currently building a seperate bungalow / bathroom unit for woofers which will hopefully be ready by January 2025, otherwise you be helping finish it off. Accomodation is also availabe in the house. Two small house bound cats have access to an enclosed run from the house. The property has numerious Ring-tale possums who are acustomed to human interaction. Kolas and bird life are also prolific on site.

Why I became a WWOOF Host

I like the concept. Looking to develop good working relationships and extend the enterprise. Wwoofers will assist with the vegetable growing, farm maintenance, building and landscaping activities. Wwoofers will have access to what we grow together. Some assistance with activities on weekends and afterhours is required as I work full time off site.

Organic/Biological methods we use

Organic, bidynamic, no pesticides or herbcides. We made a monthly mix on the full moon and distrubute after a month.
