    Short Property Description

    Briar Rose is a wild food and rose garden on a fringe suburb in Australia’s capital city, Canberra.

    The property is 800m2 and has two small dwellings. A house and tiny house.

    There are hens, guinea pigs, a dog, cat,, fish and the occsdinal turkey or baby goat!

    The garden produces figs, cherries, raspberries, strawberries, limes, lemons, almonds, walnuts, pears, apples, peaches, nectarines, quinces, mulberries, elderflower, plums, greens, vegetables, herbs and lots of flowers for birds, butterflies and cut flowers.

    Briar Rose is 13 min from the centre of Canberra city which is famous for art, museums and great food and beautiful surroundings.

    I’ve been a BD farmer for 12 yrs. Grew up in a Permulture Village and did the Permaculture Design course.

    Why I became a WWOOF Host

    I loved being a WOOFER myself as a young woman and want to give people the opportunity to enjoy my garden and tiny home, and so that i can work with others to improve and develop Briar Rose.
