Briar Rose is a food and rose garden on a fringe suburb in Australia’s capital city, Canberra.
The property is 800m2 and has two small dwellings. A house and tiny house.
There are hens, guinea pigs, a dog, cat, fish and the occasional turkey or baby goat!
The garden produces figs, cherries, raspberries, strawberries, limes, lemons, almonds, walnuts, pears, apples, peaches, nectarines, quinces, mulberries, elderflower, plums, greens, vegetables, herbs, birds, butterflies and flowers for cutting.
Briar Rose is 13 min from the centre of Canberra city which is famous for art, museums and great food and beautiful surroundings.
I loved being a WWOOFER myself as a young woman and want to give people the opportunity to enjoy my garden and tiny home, and so that i can work with others to improve and develop Briar Rose.
