Why I became a WWOOF Host

My daughter and I are international travelers with our feet now firmly in the basalt soil of Batlow – growing organic trees with it and building sustainable buildings with it! We need more hands and are very happy to share what we know and do.

Organic/Biological methods we use

Until two years after the 2020 bushfires I was certified organic with ACO. My priority has been planting new fruit trees instead of making a profit, so I am not certified at present, but continuing all requirements. The goats provide organic fertiliser. The trees are mulched and given organic foliar sprays of seaweed and CropBioLife (an astonishing bioflavinoid enhancer).
