Beth Ripper
I live half my life in the little village of Stratford in a fabulous Strawbale sustainable house with a highly productive permaculture garden and next to the Avon River. The other half of my life is spent in the seaside hamlet of Lake Tyers Beach where I am active in environment and arts focused community projects. In Stratford I have vegetable gardens & fruit trees in abundance. I am also active in community environment activities on the Gippsland Plains Rail Trail and Local Landcare. Work incl. garden construction and maintenance, growing food , preserving garden produce, as well as engagement in creative artistic & local environmental projects. Accomodation for 1 in my home. Couples by arrangement, No dogs and absolutely NO smokers. Mostly vegetarian diet. both Lake Tyers Beach and Stratford are on public transport routes from Melbourne/Sydney/Canberra & south coast of NSW.

Why I became a WWOOF Host

I am an active community member who is passionately involved in many things, including the Segue Community Hub & Arts Café, Gippsland Plains Rail trail and Landcare environment projects. I enjoy travel & so enjoy WWOOFers living with me as family. I love to cook together with WWOOFers.
