Nimbin Natural Healing Farm
Ninbin Natural Healing is a small healing farm founded on the belief that nature can restore both the body and mind. Located in the quiet forests of New South Wales, we live completely off-grid using solar power, rainwater, and wood fires. Our place blends Japan’s gentle healing culture with the raw natural energy of the Australian land, creating a space where visitors can deeply reset and reconnect with themselves. WWOOFers can experience the essence of natural healing through hands-on herb cultivation, simple living, and a peaceful environment designed for restoration. Communication in Japanese is also possible, so Japanese visitors who wish to spend time close to nature in a tranquil setting can participate with peace of mind.

Why I became a WWOOF Host

I became a WWOOF host because I believe in the healing power of nature and the value of a simple, sustainable lifestyle. I want to share this peaceful off-grid lifestyle with WWOOFers, providing a place where people can connect with themselves, learn natural gardening, and experience the gentle rhythm of life in the forest. I would be delighted if people from Japan, who want to rejuvenate their mind and body while being close to nature, could enjoy their time at this place.

Organic/Biological methods we use

We practice cultivation methods based on the principles of permaculture and regenerative agriculture, using fully organic farming without chemical chemicals. We focus on building healthy soil through composting, mulching, and natural nutrient cycling. Our herbs and vegetables are grown without pesticides or chemical fertilizers, using companion planting, rainwater irrigation, and gardening practices that minimize environmental impact. Our off-grid lifestyle supports an environmentally friendly agricultural approach that works with the natural rhythms of the land rather than against them. Biodiversity, soil health, and environmentally responsible stewardship are at the heart of our methods.
