My true passion has always been with animals and nature. Being with and taking care of animals is what instantly reloads me with energy and makes me truly happy. Back in Sweden I will eventually start my education to become a vet nurse. Being outside in nature is also something that I always loved, wether it is an adventure, such as hiking, climbing, diving or sailing; or simply just working outside, I always loved it. Anyway, right now things are not as they used to be for any of us. I'm still here in Australia trying to find a place to stay and a job anywhere in New South Wales. I've mainly been working as a waitress in Sydney these couple of months, but with that not being an option anymore I'm hoping to find work as a volunteer on a farm for a while. I've been in a house on my boyfriends parents farm in central west New South Wales quarantining for 2 weeks, so now I confidently seek for a place that needs extra help. Hope to see you guys soon!

Skills I Want to Learn:
Whenever I choose to settle down in life there are certain skills which would be beneficial to know. One of them being the basics of farm work, maybe someday I would want to have a small organic farm of my own. But WWOOF is more than what meets the eye, I believe it's sharing of stories and skills in life overall. This is an opportunity to learn but also to teach, which is beneficial for both parties involved. If there's on thing I want to be remembered for and to bring to this world it is kindness.

3hrs from Melbourne Airport I am a retired secondary school teacher and run a small BnB business and, having moved onsite recently, I am establishing the garden and maintaining the property. I keep bees, and wish soon to increase the number of hives I have. I have hosted many Couchsurfers in my own flat, but will provide more private accommodation with the help of WWOOFers ASAP. The property is within a short distance of the Halls Gap village, and is set adjacent to the very popular Grampians National Park, famous for its mountains, wildlife and hiking and climbing. There is usually abundant opportunity for additional work in local restaurants, etc., if desired.

I joined WWOOF because I literally know nothing about farms or the process, and I would really like to help out to build this sustainable global community. I also joined because I find it a good source to a bed and food while travelling through Australia in exchange for work.

I joined WWOOF because I had heard so many good things about it. I'm hoping to get new experiences and I would like to see the real Australian life and learn about your culture and this beautiful country of yours. WWOOF also matches my values as I would like to be part of helping in different kind of tasks and still be able to go out and explore near by areas. I would like to learn about organic food and sustainable ways of living. I am also interested about the option to work in bush fire recovery areas (I can help with re-building or with animals) to get my 2nd year working and holiday visa.

I want to learn about sustainable farming and off-grid living, meet new people and be able to contribute in a community. I'm a very hard working, creative person who likes to get my hands dirty. I want to meet people who are like-minded and where I can contribute and learn. I'm good with animals and love gardening and I'm always eager to new building projects!

I have always loved being outdoors, and have a big love and respect for animals (so one of my biggest frustrations is that my mum is allergic to fur...). I think that becoming a WWOOfer gives me the perfect opportunity to meet the true people of Australia and a break from my travels. At the same time I get to learn about new things and a different way to live than I am used to.

It started when a friend of mine told me about her parents farm in Adeline. She told me that they had workers from WWOOF. I was looking for new experiences so here I am.

I've had lots of good experiences in wwoofing over the last 10 years, in a range of European countries. I love the concept of learning by working and working to be happy.
