Our main goal by traveling to Australia is to get to know the country, the traditions and the people better. Furthermore we want to experience the australian daily lifestyle as authentic as possible, thats why we want to live and work together with typical australian familys. We are open and interessted in new experiences, challenges and keen to support the australian economy. In our view, WWOOF is the best opportunity to achieve the most genuine impressions of the australian lifestyle and in our case to gain our ambitions.

I'm alone and i'll be arrive in Australia in April, and, ideally, I would like to start my life as a woofer, quickly. I don't have a specific place at the moment. I don't have a date line, I left my job for unlimited time, so I would like to take time to meet you and discover life on your farm, with your family and others people. I hope to be a woofer for a few weeks ou months if It's possible for you. I want to travel, to discover australia and to help on farms, picking up fruits and vegetables, in the fields, I know how to take care of animals, take care of them, and feed them. I want to learn all I can about life on the farm or in animal shelters.

By joining WWOOF we're hoping to discover more of Australia and people which i think would be enriching for us. We would also like to learn more about how the farms work and what farm work involves. We think that we'd gain useful experience through these jobs.

I joined WWOOF through American Institute for Foreign Study (AIFS) and I am interested in learning about life on Australian organic and permaculture farms and learning about growing and producing organically. I'm also interested in the diffrent farming types and to learn and help here.

I joined WWOOF because it seems a great way to meet locals and gain local knowledge whilst also getting active and doing some farming. I find volunteer farming really enjoyable in the UK because I work with such a great mix of folk and keep learning more about how to grow crops successfully.

I am taking a sabbatical of 6 months right now, which I started mid August. I travel down South America from Peru to Argentina and after that I would like to work on a ranch in Australia for approx. 4 weeks (starting mid/ end of November). I would like to get a glance at a life close to nature and working closley with animals. Working hard the day - outside - and not "just" sitting in front of a computer. I hope to meet nice and open-minded people and have a good time together. I think, learning about different cultures and ways of life is inspiring. I hope to get the chance to see the real life in Australia besides the experiences a "normal" tourist is going to make.

In joining WWOOF, I hope I can be part of a team - me working hard and supporting the host as much as I can and the host, giving me the chance to learn and work in nature with animals ( maybe a sheep farm or a cattle ranch?) and to experience the life on a ranch. In working close together, I hope that we have a great time, sharing experiences and laughter; having fun together while doing something useful and worthwhile. Unfortunately, I have no experience working on a farm, but I have a quick grasp and I am highly motivated to learn. I am sporty, I am fit and I have a good stamina. If you prefer to have me for less than 4 weeks, that is no problem. If it works for you better, I might have the chance to split the time and work on two different ranches. I would also be interested to work on a winery.

We like to see Australia from Melbourne to Cairns. For a few days we stay in Melbourne to see the city and then we want to wwoof in Melbourne, because its a cheap way to stay as a tourist in Australia. After wwoof in Melbourne we fly to Sydney and booked a tour from Sydney to Cairns. In Cairns we also want to wwoof for two weeks. Travelling is really amazing to see beautiful places and cities but we also want to see how local people live, work and eat in different countries in Australia. We are looking forward to work with animals but we are also ready to help in the household, in the garden or work with children.

We joined Wwoof because we don't want only to be in holidays in Australia. We want to meet people, to learn new skills, especially related to land and agriculture. We want to share other ways of living, and take the opportunity to be immersed in the australian culture.

S: A project I’m immersed in is focused on food waste landfill diversion, and its making me miss my farm days. My rural property in Flowerdale is a bit limited and I’m running out of projects there, so I’d love to get back into farm life and agricultural production. J: I used to WWOOF solo 12 years ago and had a blast, met some incredible people in amazing places. Always had the intention to do it again, and the kids are finally older and ready!

I am interested in the non-city life, and the sense of well-being it can bring to the soul - I often feel anxious and enclosed in cities. Due to having my gap-year plans cut short by this year's circumstances I am also looking to seek out new adventures, meet new people and rediscover the country I call home.

Yuka : - Improving our daughters’ English level (and mine too…). Especially one of them dreams to study fashion in London. - Sharing with my family a countryside life and the pleasure to work together - Hoping that our twin girls understand the importance to help voluntarily others and to be cooperative in the community and how producers work hard to give us crops. - For all of us 4, finding some new values different from what we have or know, something that we forgot in our urban life. Guillaume : For me life is about experiences and meet a lot of different people from all other the world and also discover the world. The more you learn about other people's lives the more you learn about human's heart. And as a writer and a humanist that's really important for me. And also I live in a big city but I am pretty wild so I need to refresh myself from time to time by being close to the nature.
