Environmental sustainability is deeply engrained into our culture and we are certified members of  World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms. We love to welcome international and domestic travellers who share a responsible travel passion to our property as volunteers, giving them the opportunity to experience life on an outback farm while they offset their own travel footprint. What Do You do for us? About 6 hours volunteering a day during a range of things from tree planting, native seed collection, stone wall preservation, fencing, general farm chores, painting, gardening, cleaning and maintenance. On arrival we sit down with you and work out what interests, ideas and passions you have so we can map out a plan of action.  We want everyone to leave having had a super positive experience as a volunteer at Coodlie Park Farm Retreat. What do I get in return? A new Aussie family that wants you to have an amazing experience - Private room accommodation with shared facilities - Food – 3 home cooked meals a day and the rest - Learn about the Eyre Peninsula and Australia - Good karma - The amazing experience of living and working on real Aussie outback farm with access to a private beach and abundant native wildlife - Meet lots of other traveller’s who are stopping through on our Nullarbor Traveller adventure tours.  As all our tours from Perth and Adelaide stop at Coodlie Park we’d recommend to jump on a tour, get off at Coodlie Park for then jump back on and finish the tour when you’re ready! Check out one of our past Volunteers blogs and get in touch if you think this is up your alley!

We have already spent a year in Australia and we are starting the second. We like to travel a lot, meet people, discover the country and learn a lot of things. Nature lovers, we really enjoy walking and hiking or just being outside, taking care of animals, gardening and doing DIY. We spent one year in New Zealand five years ago and we did a lot of Wwoofing. We loved it ! Now our goal is to get a third year helping hosts who are in bushfire recovery areas and doing seasonal work. Looking forward to meeting you.

I would love to stay fit, keep learning new and old ways of farming, especially sustainable farming and to be honest, I love food that is good for my mind, body and soul! I have no intention of going back to corporate Sydney life and am super keen to get my hands dirty again.

I first joined WWOOF in San Diego, USA. I was travelling with some friends and we were running out of money so we decided to take a chance and spend a couple of days working on a farm. It turned into some of the best weeks from the whole trip, learning about soil composition, irrigation and organic farming. I hope to have more experiences like this, meeting great people and living off the land.

I've always been interested in living off the land and one day would like to have a go a semi self sufficiency myself. I'm not sure if Darwin is the place to do this because of the poor soils, very dry Drys and the sometimes torrential Wets. I did two WWOOFing placements in the US and enjoyed it very much.

Decided I want to get out and learn more about plants growing, food and clean living. I just want to experience life in a different form then I have been living and see where life wants to take me.

I'm always looking for new adventure to learn and understand more of what's around me. Love working with my hands, weather it be fashioning trinkets and belts from leather or working under the bonnet, but more than anything I embrace new experience and always want to learn more wherever possible
