We hope to become farmers in the next few years and joined Wwoof to learn while living and experiencing this life directly. We think it’s important to do this as a family before adjusting our lives permanently. We are passionate about the health of our planet and our connection to land, and that it’s key to addressing many of the biggest issues we currently face as a civilisation. We wish to learn from the experience and knowledge from those making a life on the land and through hands-on experience....and have a great time while doing it!

We joined WWOOF because we are on working holiday visas and would like to do 88 days of regional work so that we can stay in Australia for a second year. We think volunteer work is a great way to do this!

I found Wwoofing is a great opportunity to learn from locals and also live with locals. If you go to Australia only to travel and to see new places then you\\\\\\\'ll going to miss something really important. So I just want to live the whole Australien live like I was born there. I wanna meet the locals, do the work as they do every day and also see Australia from every perspective. I\\\\\\\'m sure at this way you\\\\\\\'ll get a lot more experience and knowledge than just doing a road trip or something.

I think it is kind of a wonderful deal to give something in the form of work and help in general and to get something back. But beyond that I consider that I am allowed to be a part of your private life, to be a helping hand and just to get connected with different human beings. I would like to expand my knowldge with farming and the Australian nature and I hope I may be your worker and guest. It is my kind of thing to work outside and get to know the environment we live in.

I recently joined WWOOF as I would like to travel around Australia learning new skills and meeting new people as I go along.

I have found that it is hard to get jobs without having skills so I believe this is a great opportunity for me to start.

I hope to achieve many skills, make lots of memories and meet new friends that can become family along the way.

I am a solo female traveler so I only wish to feel safe at all times and always be treated with respect.

I will expect that for the hard work I put in, that I will have a safe and comfortable place to sleep and be fed enough food in exchange for me to help you work 😊

We joined WWOOF because we are really interested by permaculture, organic farming and zero waste approaches. We are mindful of the damage caused by intensive farming on the planet and our health. We have to change our way of producing and consuming due to the critical state of the planet in the interests of the earth and future generations. We would like to meet people engaged in this ecological transition in order to exchange and learn from them. When we will go back in France, we want to change our carrer, going around of french ecological initiatives and then maybe set up a permaculture organic farm.

I've joined woof cause I've recently followed a course online on Permaculture and I'd love to gain more of a practical experience. I've heard this saying that says "when knowledge is put into practice, it becomes wisdom and if not, it gets lost". It resonated with me and I think it it crucial for me right now to turn the theory into practice by having my hands in the soil.

I joined wwoof because I'm craving a simpler existence closer to nature. To get away from the noise for a while be a part of a team of like minded individuals working together. I've been looking for paid work fruit picking but throughout this process it's made me really reflect on what I value and what I need right now, and that's to support and be a part of something I truly care about. I've never worked on a farm before but I'm a quick learner, a hard worker and very self motivated. I want to learn everything I can about organic farming and get my hands dirty in the process. I'm at a crossroads on my journey, ready for change and to do something I've never done before. I hope to gain new knowledge, new skills and new connections. I would just absolutely love to experience working on an organic farm and feel I have a lot to give in the process 🙂
