We hope to meet great happy people and share some enjoyable time as well as helping them.

I joined WWOOF because of the whole idea of learning and helping and working with others. I'm also always excited about new experiences and learning new skills. It's also a great opportunity to do so by helping out, sharing, and meet new people. It would be an amazing way to experience Australia differently as a last experience there before moving back to Europe. Working with very produce-focused restaurants around the world these past few years, a more hands on experience, learning about general farming and organic practices makes a lot of sense.

City/Town: Bornholm
Farming Methods: Biodynamic
Accommodation Type: In Our Home, Caravan
We are gradually restoring a neglected farm, a beautiful 180 acres bordering NP and close to beaches. Low-tech hard work & BD preparations are slowly producing results on our pastures. Our animals are part of the family - Josephine the milking cow, a small beef herd, chooks, ducks & sometimes pigs. Our vegie garden is established, the orchard in the making. Most of our food is produced on the farm, but fishing trips supplement our diet, which is meaty, tasty & healthy. Work includes work in pastures, weeding, raking, fencing, help in vegie garden & orchard, feeding animals and building projects. Own transport preferable to take advantage of the beautiful surrounding area. Caravan accommodation for a single or a couple. No children. Meat-based meals. Non-smokers only. Negotiable stays after first few days. Cannot take WWOOFers during winter.

The first big interest of working in wwoofing is to meet good people willing to share with us some time and knowledge. As we both are nature and animals lovers we have turned to wwoofing as it seems to be a fair way to spend time in Australia

I joined WWOOF because I hope I can find people who share the same values than me. I want to learn about farming in a respectful way for the environment and ourselves. I also want to help as much as I can. I have done some couchsurfing for a few years and believe that WWOOFing is something similar but in a farming way. I can't wait to find out about it!

I love being outside in general and i would be very happy to be directly in the australian nature. I also want to learn some farmwork, because that is where all the food in the supermarket comes from.
