I have come to WWOOF in hopes to engage directly with positive ecology; an interest that is not limited to one form of practice. Through engagement with prominent and emerging farming practices, I hope to discover more techniques and strategies which may bring them together. I hope to find ways of balancing cash crop seasons with cover crops and rotational grazing. I hope to find ways of practising agroforestry with high biodiversity. I wish to learn about all aspects of farming; from the hunter-gather and permaculture skills from which we began, to the organic bio-dynamic agroforests to which we will go.

WWOOFing is a great way of getting started in a new country. It gives you time to explore an area and plan your travels while not spending money in accommodation. It's also a nice way of getting to know the customs of a place you've never been to before.

I join this woofing website because of the interest it brings and the fact we can help farmers who need strong and nice peoples. The idea to help the farmers in exchange of accommodation is stunning. And I believe that with WWOOF I'll find the perfect farm to work and share with

I joined WWOOF, because I dont want to get the experiencesin Australia as a tourist. I want to see the flora and fauna about Australia, which is extremly different to Germany. I also joined WWOOF, because I want to visit my aunt in Brisbane. She is living in Brisbane, actually at the Sunshine coast, since 1983. But her house is to small to be there for 5 weeks. And to be honest, it would be pretty expensive to stay 5 weeks at a Hotel or hostel and as a student I dont earn a lot of money. So the free meals and accomodations are a reason too. But as I told you already in the upper text the most important thing for us is the experience. We are reliable and diligent and can do each work.

I joined WWOOF through American Institute for Foreign Study (AIFS) and I am interested in learning about life on Australian organic and permaculture farms and learning about growing and producing organically. I am hard working and willing to learn.

For quite some time I have wanted to learn more about permaculture, organic food growing practices, and different forms of sustainable and communal living in the hope that I will be able to someday put some of these principles into practice when I find somewhere to set down roots. Until now, due to work and study commitments, I have only really had spare time to do some reading about these things. I now have some time so I would really love the opportunity to be able to come and help you out with labour, and in return learn some of these skills!

Previously I participated as a WWOOFer in Canada in 2016 and was enormously rewarded with learning about organic farming practices, spending many hours outdoors, and meeting like minded passionate people. I hope to learn as much as I can from my hosts, and give back in hard and diligent work. Learning essential life skills -growing your own food, minimising your footprint, looking after the land, building your own shelter, I think is so so important. I am looking to feel more connected to life and nature. One day I'd like to be able to hosts my own WWOOFers.
