Middalya Station is a half million acre cattle station in the remote Gascoyne region of Western Australia. The station covers numerous ranges, including the Kennedy Ranges National Park, and has a beautiful homestead with a pool and veggie garden.

We are looking for help around the homestead, particularly during the mustering season of September to November (when all the cattle are rounded up). Help may include assisting with lunches, dinners and snacks for the station workers, as well as helping to keep the homestead clean and tidy, maintaining the garden and caring for the house pets, including dogs and often caring for the calves during the muster, which is always a special time. Depends on your experience and enthusiasm, you can experience going up in the helicopter or on the bikes again this is up to the individual. WWOOFers will have their own private room, shared living area, WiFi and unlimited access to the kitchen and very well stocked pantry, and we welcome all types of cuisine! If you want the OUTBACK experience then this is for you. The weather is hot so sun hats and the appropriate clothing is essential for a comfortable time here with us.

My true passion has always been with animals and nature. Being with and taking care of animals is what instantly reloads me with energy and makes me truly happy. Back in Sweden I will eventually start my education to become a vet nurse. Being outside in nature is also something that I always loved, wether it is an adventure, such as hiking, climbing, diving or sailing; or simply just working outside, I always loved it. Anyway, right now things are not as they used to be for any of us with COVID-19. I'm still here in Australia trying to find a place to stay and a volunteer work anywhere in Lisborne and Far North Coast, NSW area. Until the 25 November I will travel up the coast with my friend. My plan is to find a place to stay and do some WWOOFing again because that's something I really enjoy, meeting new people - share stories, knowledge and work outside in nature. Contact me through my number or e-mail in the contact details. I will be able to come and help in the end of November after 25th with what ever you may need. The ideal time to stay for me would be about 3-4 weeks. 2 or 5 weeks is also okay! Hope to see you guys soon! Cheers and love, Alice
