We are a couple who will be slowly making our way from Melbourne to Darwin. We both want to learn more about permaculture and land conservation and enjoy hearing peoples\\\' stories. We joined WWOOF so we could volunteer our time in exchange for knowledge and a slower pace of life.

A few years ago, I spent a few weeks working in a wildlife rehabilitation center in South Africa and it was amazing. Living in the small, flat country of the Netherlands, I am looking forward to immersing myself in a completely different, open and more rugged environment to work with nature and animals again. WWOOFing seems a great way to discover a new place; while working hard and learning about my surroundings and the people, and hopefully making new friends along the way. I am looking to work for a few weeks in one place, explore the area, and continue to travel more of the country. I would love to work with or around animals, food and wine, or with ocean/lake/river related projects. However, I am broadly interested and open for experiences that had not yet crossed my mind. I'm not afraid of getting dirty and although do not have much experience in farming, I am looking to learn more, and I generally learn fast.

I have previously been a WWOOFer and really enjoyed the experience. I have an interest in gardening and sustainable, healthy living. It's a great learning experience to meet new people and see how others are living.

We would like to contribute our workforce to the australian community to make up for the great expiriences we've been given and the beautiful places we got to visit. Also Australia has become our new home and it hurt to see it burn down on the news every day during the bushfires. Therefore now we feel like it's the perfect way of saying thank you to all the help and kindness we've expirienced from Aussies so far.

Since I came to Melbourne, I began to think more about nature, wildlife, the earth, and what I eat every day. Originally, I was very interested in agriculture and farms since I was in Japan and decided to go to farm whenever I came to Australia, so this time I join wwoof. I hope I can get some hints about my life and future through my work at the farm. I want to learn many things by farm life. I am also interested in the lifestyle of people living on the farm. I felt that people living in Australia value their quality of life and lifestyle. I want to experience the lifestyle of living with nature. Moreover, I’m looking forward to meet people. I like talking to people because I can learn new values and discover new interests for myself. I want to enjoy living with my family on the farm.

I like to be in nature and spend time with people and achieve goals together. I like the animals and everything nature gives us. It is a small thank you to nature if I can help it.

It’s my passion to continuously learn something new and be with others in a team. I also can work on my own but it’s much more motivating to be with some work mates or hosts. I am eager to learn more about organic farming and raising cattle and the challenging life in the Outback.

I'm a pet lover and have been raised a Labrador for two year. I feel confident that I can treat animals as my owned dog and take good care of them. Additionally, I feel interest in cooking but I can't make a full-fledged meal at my level. I am eager to learn if you are willing to teaching me some skills about cooking, planting, feeding, etc. What's more, traveling, playing Ukulele, watching movie and reading are all my favorites. For traveling, I have been to Japan and some domestic places in China. It's my first time to go to Australia and I feel curiously excited about that.

To learn from other people and places. To enjoy and share new experiences. To contribute my skills and time. To take a break from my version of 'normal'.
