Our property is located a few kilometers from the beautiful town of Eungella Qld. It consists of over 1000 acres of mosty rainforest with some areas containing pastured creek flats. We operate a small boutique garlic farm and supply the local markets and local retail stockists. We are currently planting up food forests and developing a market garden, We are have been qualified Permaculture design consultants for the past 5 years and practice Bio-dynamic farming methods. There is a farm house on the property that will be the dedicated home for our WWOOFer guests. A couple of permenant creeks wind through the property till it reaches our boundry and continues into the National Park. There are many swimming holes and waterfalls to explore.

About Jingya Liu: I dream of a different life. Freedom, happiness and the unique feeling are the treasure what I have been pursuing. I am familiar with and passionate about volunteer work. Fortunately, WWOOF is like a bridge connecting me with the unknown journey which attracts me deeply. Besides wanting to meet people from all over the world, I want to learn more skills and improve my English more effectively. I believe being a part of WWOOF means having a better new life. About Xiao Gu: Since I went Australia for study and I just found this activity accidentally, I guess it’s a good opportunity for mr to know Australia better. Besides, it’s meaningful to learn how to take care of animals, live in a farm and help others.

We have joined WWoof to gain knowledge and experience in a field that we would love to be part of in our future. We have grown out of the practices we were using on our previous property and hope to achieve motivation, a broad knowledge of sustainable practices and a dream to put these practices to use on our own piece of land in the future. The best way to achieve the unknown is to volunteer and learn from hosts that are doing what we would love to do.

Actively interested in permaculture ! This is still quite unknown in France, so we would like to be part of changing the mentality in our native country, as this is the future of our life.

If we join wwoof, it's because it was highly recommended to us. In addition, it would allow us to make a good transition from our arrival in the territory to a future job in whv. Being able to work in environmentally friendly companies is a great incentive to register.

I joined wwoof to live a new travel adventure, find a host with whom I go along to live the best possible experience ! I think wwofing is the perfect environment to connect with people while finding back yourself. The unknown can be scary but this is what creates the most unforgettable memories and this is what I am looking for. I also like being useful and have a strong sense of satisfaction regarding a job well done.

I joined WWOOF because I am interested in getting to know more about the farm life in Australia and to travel on roads not everyone has walked on before. I want to (especially) support organic farming and animal farms because I believe that even the smallest person doing something good can make a change and I wish to be part making a difference.

A friend of mine highly recommended me this community. I was inspired by his experience and wanted to get mine! Lear alternative ways of living, take action for sustainability, meet talented people to share knowledge, be closer to the nature, these are the motivations I have in mind. I would like to go beyond my urban environment and bring back new ideas and rich human experiences.
