It sounds like a great way to meet people and to find opportunities to work for my keep whilst studying in Tasmania. I only need a space to set up my camper with some privacy, a garden hose and power lead and aside from that I’m pretty well self sufficient!

We are looking forward to having the chance to experience new places in the world. WWOOFing sounds like a great way to travel cheaply while being environmentally conscious! We are taking some time off post high school and university to do something different and interesting, see new places and gain new skills and experiences. We are very excited by the opportunities that WWOOFing offers in seeing different parts of Australia and learning unique skills and knowledge from new people. We are both very passionate about and interested in sustainability and learning new and better ways to live and work with the earth.

We joined WWOOF as we are currently travelling around Australia for two years and we are hoping to learn more about organic farming, permaculture, biodynamics and self-sufficiency. We also want to give our children (who have mostly been raised in the city) the experience of life on a farm, a greater connection to nature, an opportunity to build greater resilience, and an appreciation for where their food comes from and the importance of supporting sustainable agricultural practices. We also love the idea of being able to give back by working in various capacities on different farms and helping to spread the message about the importance of organic, sustainable and regenerative farming, with a view to being part of the change that we'd like to see in the world.

To explore different parts of the country. Learn about permaculture and off grid living and meet people. As I have an interest in off grid living it would be good to meet other people doing this and also to explore parts of the country I may like to live in the future.

I joined WWOOF because, whilst I have learnt much from my parents, I want to learn more about sustainable gardening, and learn how other gardeners (particularly those with permaculture gardens) apply these principles. I will be in Sydney until September 2021- my Postgraduate study overseas was delayed due to Covid- and hope to learn as much as I can before heading to London!

We have already spent almost two years in Australia, mostly in Victoria. We like to travel a lot but we haven't been able to do so for more than a year. We enjoy meeting people, discovering the country and learn a lot of things. Nature lovers, we really enjoy walking and hiking or just being outside, taking care of animals, gardening and doing DIY. We spent one year in New Zealand five years ago and we did a lot of Wwoofing. We loved it ! Now our goal is to get a work visa in New Zealand and if we can to stay there for a while. Right now we want to go north to enjoy a pleasant winter after working for six months in the farm industry. On the way we would be happy to do some wwoofing. Looking forward to meeting you.

I have always been interested in learning more about how to coexist with the land, and I have always had a keen interest in gardening. I recently bought a converted Volkswagen transporter, and am looking to take off ASAP to see new places and gain new skills.

I am having a gap year (or two) to experience life in a different way. I want to learn. I want to share. I want to combine what I can do with what others can show and teach me.

I’m looking to purchase a farm in the next 5 years. Prior to that I am looking to experience life on a working property where I can see what life on the land with animals and crops is really like.

I don't love living full time in the city. I've always known about WWOOFing and have wanted to join, so here I am. I do not have room for a garden where I live at the moment and would love to spend time helping out on a property with a garden or a farm. I would love to learn about organic farming, permaculture etc. and I've had chickens in the past and love them. I prefer to learn hands on, am a quick learner and a hard worker, I also look forward to exploring and meeting new people while not working.

I find being in nature and doing a hard days work in dirt very grounding and rewarding, especially with other likeminded and lovely people. I'm looking for an enriching experience with other WWOOFers where I can make friends and learn practical skills from my hosts and my peers. I'll be looking to WWOOF from 16 November – 27 February 2021/2022 during my university summer break, and again during future university breaks.

I love working with trees but think I may want to branch out (pun intentional) and learn more about permaculture, market gardening, organic farming, soil science, micro biology mixology. I hope to meet people with similar interests and work as part of a team for a collective cause. I hope to learn new skills about organic practices. I want to work for people who have passion for what they are doing. I have dreams of working or being part of market garden or have a small organic garden of my own one day hope for inspiration and maybe create a vision for myself in the future.

I’m really hoping WWOOFing can help me find the right fit for me. A one stop website for all thing WWOOFing is super convenient. WWOOFing will help me be able to have a better work/home balance. I can’t wait to learn new skills, meet new people and see new places. If all goes well maybe in the future I can host WWOOFers.

I want to start a farm and have that be my career. I've tried a few other fields already and nothing really interested me longterm. I've always had quite extensive vegie gardens around me as a kid and as I got older and fitness became a large aspect of my life I started to get into things like Ruth stout farming, huglekulture mounds and eventually developed my own little system that blended the two with some other techniques and I've been experimenting with that system on a larger scale on the property I work at in hopes to start an organic farm in the future. I have lived from east coast to west coast and just about north to south of Australia yet sadly never worked on a farm beyond just helping a mate for a day or two so this is an opportunity for me to tick so many boxes at once and have a great time doing it.

I joined WWOOF to seek farm work and enjoy country living. I am particularly interested in permaculture and organic farming techniques. However I’m open to any new learning while l work in a farm. I’m hoping to contribute to your farm and agro business. I look forward to meeting you.

We joined WWOOF because we want to reduce our environmental impact and try to live our lives in a sustainable way. We are both quite practical but we would like to offer our time and energy to learn new skills from our hosts that we can take with us in our journey to becoming more self-sufficient. And of course we look forward to visiting all the places in Australia we've not yet explored!
