  • A other German engineer had recommended this Plattform to get in touch with the locals. He sad: if you want to work longer and can give a hard hand then go with wwoof. So, I’m use to it to trust my feelings after a conversation. It was a very nice guy and here I am. I would love to prof myself and my abilities. And as I sad: Stay a bit longer on one area and I really like to give a hand where it’s needed. Looking forward to hear from you.

We joined WWOOF because it seems like an amazing way to learn about organic farming practices, give back to the land, and extend our travels. We both live a vegan lifestyle and enjoy eating locally and sustainably. We would love the opportunity to get a hands on experience and learn about food practices, where our food is coming from and how organics are farmed in beautiful Australia. We are looking to have fun while working hard to earn what we eat.

I am taking a long slow trip up down and around the east coast and would like to experience both large and small scale agricultural systems. Engaging with socially responsible people and produces to enable - A desire to learn and further develop my abilities first hand from people and places. To contribute to something meaningful and more sustainable in the big picture. I love soil! I dislike the word dirt in reference to soil.

For our 12 month van trip it seems like a great way to learn some practical skills and see some different ways of doing things that maybe we could incorporate into our own little garden at home. We would love to start keeping bees and chooks in our yard to start 'closing the loop' in our backyard.

I was talking with my cousin about the felling I was having about traveling and she told me the name of this page. Searching on internet and looking some reviews I realise this is exactly for I'm looking for. I thing this will be an incredible experience for me to meet people and learn about the farm work.

I prefer to work while doing Wwoofing because I want to be integrated in the heart of the Australian way of life, I want to exchange my knowledge, to acquire many skills concerning the work in the farm. I know it can be very varied and that's what interests me.

I joined wwoof for a bunch of reasons. I love nature, I love organic things, the culture around it and the people who provide it. For about 5 years I've kept meeting people from overseas and had them talk about how beautiful Australia is and I've had very little idea of where they were talking about when they mentioned some of these Australian spots. So I decided this year to travel around and see the wonders that Australia has to offer. I'd heard about woofing before realised  when I looked at the website how incredibly the opportunities offered were so I decided to join, learn a bunch of things, meet some lovely people and have amazing experiences

I've joined WWOOF because I want to experience what it's like to be on a farm and work on the land. I'm excited to meet new people and help out. I can volunteer for up to 3 weeks from approx 17th April to 9th May.

I joined WWOOF because: 1. I refuse to be just a normal tourist, running around, photographing things and rushing on. So I want to experience Australia from the australian point of view. 2. I want to learn new things and skills, whether farming practices or skills with tools or animals. I am just open to anything.

Even though I know exactly what kind of job I want to do, I don’t feel ready to start an independent working life in a city as big as Paris yet. I grew up in the suburbs, surrounded by nature, quietness and a breathable air. When I was a kid, I used to scout with my friends during week-ends and summer holidays. We camped and hiked in the forests and the mountains, crossed small rivers, farms or fields as far as the eye could see. Discovery, adventure, nature, surpassing oneself, those are the words that truly define my scout experience. I always knew I'd need to go back to those kinds of experience in the future. So here I am, doing a gap year between my last two final years of study so I could experience wwoofing in Australia. It’s an opportunity for me to take a break from this predefined pattern of student and professional life in order to reflect and to refocus on what I'm ready to do. Discovering Australia has always been one of my dreams. I look forward to arriving in this country with so many beautiful diverse landscapes. I believe that wwoofing is the best way to be fully immersed in Australian life and culture, meet new people and improve my English.

With my wife, we want to make our children discover true nature, outside of cities, and a living close to nature, where food is cultivated and produced. We think this would be a tremendous learning for them, and for us. We are looking to stay in a wwoof for a few weeks close to Brisbane. We are expecting to work and take care of our children. We would of course need a flexible and kids friendly environment but we are really willing to bring some help to the hosting family.

We are a family with 2 children traveling around Australia to learn more about organic farming experiences. In our homeland, Brazil, we have been working with agroforestry systems for 10 years, and we are seeking to deepen and exchange knowledge. We are especially interested in learning about feijoa crops.

I joined WWOOF because my wwoofing experiences in New Zealand were so great that I want to do it again in Australia. To me it's a way to meet people that I wouldn't meet as a backpacker and to learn about different things. I would especially like to learn about growing fruits and veggies and medicinal plants. Also, I'm not really good at cooking but I'm more than eager to learn. If you know about beekeeping that would be of interest to me as well.

We want to learn about this country's culture, and wwoofing is one of the best way to do so by working with passionate people and with the opportunity to travel around the country. To be honest, we don't have any experience on working in a farm, but we are eager to learn and ready to improve. Our english isn't the best, so we wish to improve it by talking with people.
