In the future, I would like to be involved in agriculture and stock-farming. I am looking forward to working in the vast land, which is different from Japan. Above all, I want to study English in Australia. My English is still not very good, but  I want to learn about Australian culture and English by living with them as a wwoofer. If necessary, I would  like to share what I know about Japanese culture.

Friends of us told us about WWOOF and we knew ‚we wanna try this!‘ As I wrote above: we love the nature and are super excited to learn new things. Both of us are not shy to do hard work or get dirty hands. We would also like to get to know Australia through locals and discover how they live and help out how they work.

I would love to continue to build my skills in gardening, permaculture and natural building, and meet interesting people along the way. I have spent some time volunteering in Ladakh on natural farming projects, and in Australia doing some natural building, and would love to explore more volunteering options that involve herb, flower and market gardens. I am also very keen to learn about beekeeping and cheesemaking.

I am looking for an opportunity to incorporate mushroom growing techniques into current practices on a WWOOF farm. I can also help to build a mushroom farm and make excellent use of bi-products to build soil and increase organic matter and productivity. To this end I have created a series of designs to help accomplish this. I can create small structures very cheaply using aircrete technology that is extremely insulative, fire resistant and also vermin proof. I have also designed a water activation technology that will help to reduce water usage and soil water retention. This technology is excellent for producing high quality compost teas. My skills are in design and implementation of wholistic systems. I am looking for a long term position that would allow me to assist my host in the implementation of a productive enterprise or a system capable of sustaining a small community. I am of course very happy to help with day to day tasks. If any of this interests you I hope that I will hear from you soon

WWOOFing seems to be the best way for me to get many experiences around the agriculture and our environment across Australia. I want to disconnect from the proper working contracts and get to meet people in their actual life and share it for a moment.

To get work experience as I can’t find a job after doing my certification due to lack of experience. I’m hoping to learn skills to also help me personally as I love veggie gardening. I’d like to meet new people and see new places.

We joined WWOOF to extend our holiday for as long as possible. Also to learn about organic farming we hope to own our own hobby farm 1 day so any tips and tricks we pick up along the way would be hugely beneficial to us. Lastly to meet some amazing people and make new friends.

I recently met someone who had an amazing experience WWOOFing and I was really inspired to try it as well! I really love travelling, but with COVID going on and what not I figured now's the perfect chance to travel and explore more places domestically. Through WWOOFing I hope to gain new experiences, meet more people and make new friends, and get to know different parts of Australia more in-depth. I don't have any direct farm skills, but I'm a quick study and always eager to learn! I'm keen to give everything a shot, so I'm super open to any and all experiences! 🙂

To meet new people as well as secure somewhere to stay long term since the rental market is unbelievably competitive & expensive... Through WWOOFing I aim to become part of a supportive community and happily contribute to the lives of others utilising my extensive skills and experience

I want to actively learn and enjoy different experiences and WWOOFing just seems like the perfect way to do that. My biggest passion is being in the garden, I have a small veggie patch at home which I tend to regularly and I get immense joy from. I would love to learn sustainable methods to farming, I want to experience a day in the lives of other people, I just want to LEARN!

I have thought about WWOOFing for over 25 years; I decided it was time. I am hoping to relocate from rural SA to Darwin for an academic year for the purpose of undertaking an Honours degree at CDU. The current rental crisis requires some "out of the box" thinking in terms of finding suitable accommodation in Darwin. I am hoping to find a suitable Host farm at which I can stay and work for part or all of 2022.

Because it aligns with my values, my beliefs, and my passions. I want to learn more about many different things, and also share all that I have gathered along my travels all these years. Together we can make this world a better place, and starting with what we eat and how we live has a lot to do with that kind of change. Plus coming onto a farm and bringing my own passion for nature and love for people and individuals is a wonderful way to spread love and compassion. I love being challenged, pushed out of my comfort, and testing my own boundaries. I am looking forward to meeting new people, I'm looking forward to meeting you.

I'm looking for an immersive experience to try different ways of living and hopefully gain hints about what kind of life is calling out to me. I need to gain lots of practical skills as well, and the best way to do that is through actual work with my hands. Hopefully I can be useful to the host during my stay there, doing whatever work needs to be done.

I was a WWOOFingchost on a 10 acre rainforest and bushland property north of Mackay Qld for nearly 10 years. It was one of the most wonderful, memorable experiences of my life. I got out of it as least as much as I put in - which was a LOT! We undertook revegetation projects, built a shack from mostly recycled materials, did loads of weed management, grew fruits, vegies and nuts organically and had an absolutely fantastic experience with our WWOOFers. I always said I'd love to do it myself and now I am. I can cook, clean, garden, follow instructions, respect your privacy, play scrabble and appreciate your place, pets and projects as much as you do. I'm currently deepening my yoga practice after 25 years of being a more casual fan. I love a chat but I also appreciate my own space/peace and quiet. I am travelling in a compact 4WD motorhome and left Qld in February 2021. Some power or water or use of an inside bathroom or laundry is always appreciated but not crucial. A little hut in the bush is always fun as I can spread out - but not too much! A spot to lay my yoga mat out is all I need. I do have a very cute, well behaved little dog but she has won hearts and changed opinions on dogs from one side of Australia to the other. Yes I realise that's a bit unusual. I've been doing a lot of house sitting and have great references to prove how housetrained and helpful we are. She is 10 years old and basically sleeps all day and night (in the moho). If you meet me or Daisy and don't think we are a good fit, we can just head on down the road. No worries! You won't be disappointed though. I love to learn and will be very happy to help you no matter how large, small or dirty the job. Plus I still have a lot of things I'd like to learn, so teach me and I'll really enjoy being a part of making YOUR dreams a reality. Having people in your home is a leap of faith and I've rarely been disappointed when the shoe was on the other foot. Give us a go.

We've spent almost six months fitting out our van because we love this way of travelling which allows freedom and close contact with nature. We also like the fact that living off-grid makes you realise the preciousness of energy and water resources and therefore makes you pay greater attention to your consumption. We've joined WWOOF because we strongly believe that changes need to come now regarding the environmental crisis and we want to learn skills that will help us become sustainable inhabitants of this planet, such as permaculture, organic and biodynamic farming. We are also very keen on learning natural building techniques. And if on top of this, we can have some friendly animals as roommates, that would be perfect !

I got to know WWOOF through a friend who once worked on a farm in Canada. She was very enthusiastic. I like the idea of doing something different from my job and broadening my horizons. I like animals and working in the garden. I like to be outside and am not afraid of work. I hope to get to know real life in Australia through WWOOF and live with the host family for a longer time.

I joined WWOOF because I wanted to grow and eat organgic food. I am interested in all organic farming. I like being outside and having fun while working.
