I joined WWOOF previously 10 years ago and had a great experience meeting a wide variety of people. So now back wanting to help out at a farm preferably with livestock and see a part of NSW which I would not normally see.

I'm really concerned about the way we live as a society and how we might be doing real damage to nature. I'd like to learn more about organic farming and the relation between society and nature in a practical way. WWOOF looks like a good way to do it while I can also meet new people and travel around the amazing country that is Australia.

I'm having a quarter life crisis - recently leaving a office job and exploring how I can live differently. I'd love to learn more about permaculture first hand while helping some good people out along the way with their projects. I like the idea of escaping the rat race and living a more sustainable, low impact lifestyle (yes, not the most original story I know...). I'd like to use WWOOF to learn how others are achieving this, while getting some fresh air, making some friends and getting some exercise.

To be able to volunteer to learn better farming techniques. To be able to interact with people that have more experience and different experiences with farming. To be able to put I to practice what I learn at our own farm.

I believe the life in farms will be able to become useful experiences for me, not only improving my English, but also building dense human relationships. I'd like to make friends with the people who are living in Australia and other WWOOFers from different countries. I wish I have an opportunity to stay with people in different culture and work in a farm.

My father has had experience in the past WWOOFing through Aus, NZ, France and England. He bought the membership as a gift for me to experience Australia and learn about new places. I would like to gain new skills, meet like-minded people and develop my personality through these experiences.

To pursue knowledge and skills that will enable me to live in synergy with the earth. In doing so, helping the people that are part of the regenerative farming movement will be fulfilling enough in itself.

I am wanting a tree change. Tired of the city life. I also want to see some of this great country and give back to the backbone of this country. My plan is to have no fixed address for awhile. I have had a desire to work on farms for a long time and now is the time to make that move. I want to learn a whole lot of new skills and put those skills to use by helping out our farmers. I'm looking to meet so many interesting and fabulous people and Wwoofing seem like a great way to do that. I'm wanting life to not be predictable and not the same #%*! different day kina of thing. I want new people, new landscape, new horizons, new challenges

To find some short term work, meet people and gain new experiences. I'm always eager to learn new things and gain new perspectives. I’m hoping to get some short term work on an organic property, I’m vegan and I am all about supporting a healthy life style and I believe organic farming is crucial for the health and future of this beautiful planet we call home.

I have no experience in farming and I don't come from a farming background family. Joined WWOOF to learn organic farming from experienced farmers hoping one day I can own a farm for myself and be a farm host on WWOOF to teach others.

I am having a gap year (or two) to experience life in a different way. I want to learn. I want to share. I want to combine what I can do with what others can show and teach me.

I am travelling the East Coast of Australia and I'd love to meet like-minded people, learn about off-grid living, organic farming and living off the land. In pre-covid world, I have volunteered in animal sanctuaries/shelters worldwide, generally helping walking of animals, and day-to-day farm work. I'm a hard worker and am happy to do most jobs 🙂

Sustainability, regenerative agriculture and food security are going to be integral to our future and what better time to get ones hands dirty than the middle of a pandemic.

Originally, I was inspired to start WWOOFing by my older sister, who spent months WWOOFing in the UK. Since then, I have learnt so much about the world, the Earth and myself. There is also a certain sense of adventure that comes with WWOOFing, with unexpected changes in plans, deep connections and the Universe always presenting me with new lessons to learn. Plus, everything I learn while WWOOfing is directly related to my uni degree, so thats an added bonus!

Keen to learn garden/farming/sustainability practices. Enjoy outdoor work. Meet like-minded people.  Good way to see different parts of Aus.

I had amazing experiences with WWOOFing, in Argentina, where I stayed 3 weeks in a horse farm. Thomas and I have a bit more spare time this year (we accrued lots of leave in 2020) and our job in Australia is soon coming to an end so we would like to experience some WWOOFing here before heading back home to France 🙂

It's time I started to learn how to grow things and live less from supermarkets. This has been on my mind for too long, and I think now, with what's happening with this crazy virus, it's time for me to embrace living in an alternative way.

I retreat to the universe that provides, in return I give time and compassion into anything garden, cooking, repairing, recycling, caring for animals and other fellows, clearing out old mess, reviving and restoring the old and jagged. I've journeyed through some of my lowest depths so far, and I'm here - seperate from the rat race for a more profound, embodied journey. Moving forward now knowing I can grow to learn the way of nature and become one with the universal source. SO I step into the WWOOF community, liberated and ready to hear what you have to teach me. I choose to WWOOF because its a million opportunities in one, get up and get active, stimulate my mental and a chance to meet some life long mates on my way.

Having spent the best part of the past two decades working in marketing, I have decided I want to genuinely upskill myself in sustainable practices, permaculture and better understandings in alternative living. This is all in the goal of setting up my own eco community most likely in Northern New Zealand.

I WWOOFed when I was 25 in France and loved it as a way of getting to know local food and culture. It presents a good purpose of supporting and learning from others while still giving a sense of being on vacation because the experience is so different. We want our kids to see travelling as a way of getting to know others rather than just site seeing. Luke and I have both found that the beauty of traveling is in the people we meet and the relationships we build.
