Daniel Fernández Lugilde Last Active: Active 1 hour, 40 minutes ago Age: 21-25ViewGender: CoupleSkills I Want to Learn: Organic Practices, Permaculture/Biodynamics, Gardening, Composting, Animal Care, Building, Natural building methods, Handyman, MechanicalI'm really concerned about the way we live as a society and how we might be doing real damage to nature. I'd like to learn more about organic farming and the relation between society and nature in a practical way. WWOOF looks like a good way to do it while I can also meet new people and travel around the amazing country that is Australia. Jen Kelly Last Active: Active 4 hours, 46 minutes ago Age: 36-55ViewGender: FemaleSkills I Want to Learn: Building, Natural building methods, Using and caring for tools, Handyman, MechanicalI have WWOOFed a number of times in my life, in Ireland and Australia - but not in the last 10+ years. It was always a fantastic experience. I valued the authentic local experience, the ability to work with one another without money being part of the equation and the stories and skill sharing was fantastic. I made some good friends through this process and even ended up living with a family for a long period in the West of Ireland. The simplest things can certainly make for the richest moments in life Christopher Riley Last Active: Active 7 hours, 13 minutes ago Age: 26-35ViewGender: MaleSkills I Want to Learn: Organic Practices, Permaculture/Biodynamics, Biodynamics practices and techniques, Regenerative Agriculture, Gardening, Propagating, Composting, Soil conservation, Mulching, Pruning, Animal Care, Worm farming, Building, Natural building methodsTo pursue knowledge and skills that will enable me to live in synergy with the earth. I'm looking to meet so many interesting and fabulous people and Wwoofing seem like a great way to do that. I'm wanting life to not be predictable and not the same #%*! different day kina of thing. Thomas and I have a bit more spare time this year (we accrued lots of leave in 2020) and our job in Australia is soon coming to an end so we would like to experience some WWOOFing here before heading back home to France 🙂 Mat Wilkinson Last Active: Active 14 hours, 32 minutes ago Age: 36-55ViewGender: MaleSkills I Want to Learn: Organic Practices, Permaculture/Biodynamics, Gardening, Pruning, Propagating, Composting, Soil conservation, Biodynamics practices and techniques, Mulching, Animal Care, Mustering, Beekeeping, Worm farming, Fencing, Building, Natural building methods, Tool making, Using and caring for tools, Handyman, Mechanical, Dairy, Cheese making, Preserving food, Wild food foraging, Fermenting food, Bread Making, Wine making, Marketing produceIt's time I started to learn how to grow things and live less from supermarkets. This has been on my mind for too long, and I think now, with what's happening with this crazy virus, it's time for me to embrace living in an alternative way. I've journeyed through some of my lowest depths so far, and I'm here - seperate from the rat race for a more profound, embodied journey. Moving forward now knowing I can grow to learn the way of nature and become one with the universal source. SO I step into the WWOOF community, liberated and ready to hear what you have to teach me. I choose to WWOOF because its a million opportunities in one, get up and get active, stimulate my mental and a chance to meet some life long mates on my way. Learning more about them and their traditions. It is more interested to live with people from that place than staying in a hostel and get no view how the country really looks like. Beside that it is great to learn more about farming and all what comes along with that job.
