We joined wwoofing because we wanted to explore diverse cultures, learn more about farming, and meet some new people along the way. We think this experience will give us a good background and foundation for when we will start up our own farm. We also both have a passion for traveling, so this seemed like a great opportunity for us.

I am a French student, currently in Sydney in a school to learn English. Here in Australia with a VacanceTravail visa, I wish to realize woofing to live the Australian experience, to meet new people and to make an experiment on the farms.

During my PhD, and now in my work, I do projects that are related to agricultural issues/questions. However my understanding is mostly theoretical and from a social sciences perspective. I want to do wwoofing because I want to experience life on a farm and learn from people working on the land!

We joined WWOOF as a way to explore different parts of the world. As well as to gain volunteer experience and practical knowledge. During our experience with WWOOF, we hope to gain confidence, as well as self-esteem while spending quality time away from our busy lifestyles.

I join WWOOF because I would like to be a volunteer for few months and find a host. It could be a farm on west side for example near Perth , or any where else. I also manage to take care of children, I use to look after my Young sister when I was younger and did house duties. (cleaning, ironing, etc..) I don't have any experience of the farms but I am really want to learn, and I could help also with house cleaning or looking after children.

Wwoofing is by far the best way to experience new things and apply your own experiences. At the same time you always meet new people and make new contacts.

If I want to join the WWOOF it's for several reasons, the first is that I love to travel and to discover a country as rich as Australia is an incredible luck more I am young it is now that I can afford to undertake such a project. In addition I speak little English and my goal when returning to France is to resume my studies in biology or micro-biology, in both cases to master English is essential so what's better for that. I have always been fascinated by Australia, working there could allow me to immerse myself in this culture.

WWOOF seems to me a very good solution because of different experiences of internship in France with farmers. The principle that I will visit with the family hosted to better know the customs and improve our country. Volunteering will also allow me to meet locals and to live new experiences.
