Skills I Want to Learn:
I am interested in the trade, barter, exchange and gifting economy and also learning permaculture and farming skills. I love sharing knowledge, pollinating ideas between farms and supporting the growers who support us. I would love to connect with people, plants and planet and do hands on activities that nourish and sustain us, whilst learning new skills.

It’s a safe way meet the people I enjoy meeting. I love travelling but not into the drinking partying life style that gets portrayed as backpacking. I want to learn and enrich my life with people and skill I learn and stories I can tell.

I'm also particularly keen to work in new landscapes and learn about new agricultural techniques as well as be immersed in local flora and fauna. I've lived in remote Western Australia as well as southern cities such as Melbourne.

‘Yulunga’ is an eco-arts community in the lush hills of Barkersvale, an hour inland from Byron Bay, near Nimbin & Lismore. Yulunga faces the Border Ranges NP & is surrounded by subtropical rainforests, native animals & amazing birdlife. Our community consists of organic gardens, exotic fruit orchards, musicians, artists, environmental activists & passionate gardeners. Woofing work includes tending gardens, orchards, building & nursery work. You can swim in the local creek after work. We welcome earthy, hardworking & self-motivated people. Accommodation is for 1-3 in our home or in a shack with own outdoor kitchen. Vegetarians and Vegans can be catered for. We usually negotiate length of stays after an initial visit of 2-3 days. I'm always looking for new adventure to learn and understand more of what's around me. Love working with my hands, weather it be fashioning trinkets and belts from leather or working under the bonnet, but more than anything I embrace new experience and always want to learn more wherever possible

I have 3 Certified Organic properties in Lorinna. Home is 70 acres (40 cleared) in a beautiful mountain valley, bordering Lake Cethana. A lawn is grazed by free-range guinea pigs, keep rabbits for love & dinners. I enjoy good food & wine, music, reading & current affairs and live in a large hay bale house. Work incl gardening, fieldwork, haymaking, animal care, firewood collection/stacking etc depending on skills & needs. Recreation: bush walking, swimming, reading & social activities. Accom in WWOOF house across the field from my house, all meals in my house with me. Couples OK. No children. Meals are organic & include meat & dairy. No special diets. Couples welcome. We joined the wwoof community because we want to learn new ways of living and to share stories with other from the community. We believe we can bring a lot to the experience and we will take a lot of knowledge away from our experiences. We already have garden plots and animals but we have much to learn and someone whom can host us will teach us a lot that we can bring back to our life.

I have unofficially Wwoofed in Byron a few years ago, and also in Wisconsin USA- through wwoof USA. I greatly enjoyed both stays, especially working with animals. I am looking to join a farm possibly on a more permanent basis, if the feelings are mutual of course. I have a very cute 3.6m long compact Tiny House I have built myself, which has everything I need, I have Minka the Sheppard who is very well trained and loves children. My lifestyle is very healthy and peaceful, I like things neat and organised and enjoy outdoor adventures, along with peaceful down time. I would love to find a family and farm where I am out of the way, but also a great addition and help. Thank you.
