    Short Property Description

We are a farm-stay resort in the heart of the Walpole Wilderness area – a piece of paradise which is home to towering karri trees and the world-renowned Treetop Walk. It is the only corner of the earth where the red and yellow tingle trees grow, dating back to Gondwana.

We have a fully setup small cabin for Wwoofers, snuggled beside the forest, and looking out over the block.

We provide meals and firewood for the cosy little fireplace, which keeps the cabin snuggly warm. 😄 🔥  We also have a small firepit outside your verandah, which you can sit on and look out at nature.

We can cook for you, or you can cook yourself, in which case we will give you an allowance to buy your own preferred food.👍  The cabin has a cooktop, stove and microwave.  It will also soon have a washing machine and dryer, so you can do your own laundry whenever you prefer.

We ask for 5 hours’ assistance per day  We do not work on Sundays, and can be flexible around the times/hours you would like to work each day.  There are many wonderful things to do in the Great Southern area down here in your time off.

The cabin will accomodate 6, but if we have more people, we can also free up a chalet.

    Organic/Biological methods we use

We are just getting started with our farming, but want to use gravity fed reticulation to feed an organic garden.

We have 25 sheep, and 25 goats, and the farm dogs.  We will soon have poultry again too (the foxes ate the last lot!)

    Skills WWOOFers can learn here

Gardening, Worm farming, Beekeeping, Animal care, Poultry care, Sheep/goats/cattle care, Fencing, Handyman, Fermenting foods, Preserving & processing food
