For most of my working life I’ve had little to do with farming and now wish to learn things I haven’t had time to and go to places I haven’t been. I can be relied on to work hard without being supervised and quite able to ‘Think outside the box’. My interests are varied, from Astronomy and Music to Bushwalking and Gardening, although my own garden often needs more attention. WWOOFing could probably help me in this area. I have WWOOFed on a number of properties in various states since joining and have found the tasks to be quite varied and experiences pleasant.
Why I joined WWOOF
I joined in order to expand my knowledge base and skill set which could also be useful on my own property and whilst travelling. To help people who may need an extra hand and to experience other ways of living across Australia.
