    Short Property Description

    Hi there!
We are a young couple living as sustainable as possible on our 6 acre property in Buxton NSW.

We homestead and have ducks, chickens, sheep, goats, quails and an old greyhound dog 🐕. Beau uses some of the animals for food, but Lisa is vegetarian.

We grow fruit and vegetables, organically & using a holistic approach.  We swap produce with neighbours.

We are part of Land for Wildlife. 2.5 acres is native bush and preserved for the future. We regenerate parts of our boundaries. Our property backs onto Nattai NP and is home to the Gang Gang, Glossy-and Yellow tailed Black Cockatoos. We are lucky with the Wilderness behind our property and regularly go for walks

We also have a beehive🐝. That helps us pollinate our food plants. You can taste our yummy honey!

We can host up to 2 people and prefer to host from 1 day up to 1 week (longer by negotiation).  There are 2 rooms in our house, and there is a room in a separate building. We like to include you in our family. If you want to do your own thing that is completely fine to, just let us know what you prefer.

    Organic/Biological methods we use

    Permaculture and organic

Why I became a WWOOF Host

We like to share our knowledge about our sustainable life style and all other knowledge that we offer (mechanics, welding, gardening, making your own feul, cooking etc). We also like to learn from others. We are interested in different cultures. Together it is a win win situation and thats fantastic, isnt it?!
I(Lisa) have been a WWOOFer in Australia before I met Beau and loved it. These days we are hosts.
