We’re an energetic couple passionate about the outdoors and the Australian environment. Having spent the last few years in the NT, I (Chiara) am originally from the NSW coast and Chelsea is from Broome.
We both work in education in science teaching, learning support, and coach youth sports.
We live a pretty active lifestyle, so definitely won’t shy away from any hard work! Sports are a major hobby, as we play footy (AFL), netball, basketball etc. We also hike and (try to) surf.
We’re both passionate about nature and keen to learn more about organic farming and regenerative agriculture.
I am currently studying Environmental Sustainability and would love experience more.
We’re friendly and good-natured, and work well in teams. We’re motivated, don’t shy away from a challenge and are very keen to learn.
I also have my dog, Rossi, with me. He takes affectionate to a whole new level and is happy to be kept on a lead at all times. He can also stay at camp/ute/accommodation while we complete tasks.
Why I joined WWOOF
To have the opportunity to learn more about sustainable farming and lifestyles, and meet some new and interesting people. Chiara would love to be able to put more life experience behind the ‘theory’ she is learning in her studies. We are both friendly and love meeting new people from all different backgrounds.
