I’m a Master of Public Health student looking for a bit of a change! I’ve got a green thumb and am interested in woodwork, gardening, permaculture and working with animals. I’ve had experience helping to manage a small hobby vegetable garden going from zero to fully functional garden beds with irrigation and collecting and eating my own produce!
I’ve also recently finished building a teardrop caravan, a project I completed during COVID lockdown to work with my hands and tools. I’m savvy with power tools and love getting stuck into projects, no matter how big or small. I’d love to pursue any opportunities available for the next 4-6 weeks while restrictions are in place in Metropolitan Melbourne.
I’m a Vegetarian, love to cook and entertain and have a good laugh after a long days work!
Why I joined WWOOF
I’m joining WWOOF to get out and do something different! I’ve always been interested in being closer to nature and the land. If COVID has taught me anything it is that a balance is required in life.
I would love the opportunity to put my gardening/woodworking skills to good use and can think of no better way than getting out onto a farm, connecting with others and with nature!
